SBI-145 Telephone Butt Set

The SBI-145 is a state of the art Craftsperson's test set intended for purchase by network providers as a tool to facilitate installing, diagnosing and testing POTS and MDC telephone lines.

This butt set employs the latest and most advanced circuit designs to assist with the installation, maintenance, and repairs of telephone lines.

 

 

 

 

 

 

It has three modes for dialing: Pulse Dial (PD), Touch Tone (DTMF) and Meridian Digital Centrex (MDC® or EBS).  The MDC mode is for use on DMS-10®, DMS-100® (MDC) central office switches as well as on all M5000 series lines.  The SBI-145 does not work on ISDN or other fully digital lines.

The SBI-145 is very light, self contained and line powered.  It provides tip and ring identification, audio/visual indication of POTS ringing, last number redial and a nine number, twenty three digit repertoire memory facilitate dialing.  High impedance monitoring, microphone muting features are standard and packed in a rugged, easy to use case in either black or high visibility yellow with two termination options.
